About

Bonjour! I’m Estelle Tracy, a chocolate sommelier and community-builder based in Kennett Square, Chester County, in the Philadelphia area. I host chocolate tastings and give talks on chocolate for a living (yes, that’s my full-time job!).

My chocolate journey started in June of 2015, when I reviewed 37 chocolate bars made in the US in honor of my 37th birthday that Halloween. Over the course of five months, I learned more about chocolate than I could have imagined. Every bar I tasted challenged my perception of chocolate: who knew dark chocolate wasn’t always bitter, or that dark milk chocolate was a thing? Along the way, I was connecting with chocolate-makers who turned cacao beans into chocolate. I felt like I was connecting with rock stars. When the 37 Chocolates challenge ended, I knew I had to introduce everyone else to craft chocolate. The following year, I hosted my very first tasting.

Since then, I’ve designed and led hundreds of chocolate tastings and pairings, both online and in person, for thousands of attendees on five continents. I’ve also given dozens of talks at libraries, chocolate festivals, and museums. My clients include wineries, taprooms, and private clubs, as well as tech companies, financial advisory organizations, law firms, and even an NFL team (send me a note to learn which one)!

If you ask my clients about my tastings, they’ll describe them as engaging, inclusive, and story-driven. I’m in the joy business, and my goal is to create sweet memories through personal touches like handwritten notes and spectacular chocolate. Please email me at estelle(at) 37chocolates.com to learn more, and check my ticketed events page for a list of upcoming tastings.

After a decade leading chocolate-themed events, I launched The Chocolate Educator Workshop in August 2025 to teach other chocolate enthusiasts turn their interest in chocolate into bookings. I’ve trained 30 professionals in 8 countries get clients, refine their offers, and, in some cases, launch their chocolate education business. The next session is scheduled in August 2026.To learn more about this 4-week program, send me a message by email or use the contact page of the site.

I hope to see you soon at an event. Until then, the best way to stay in touch is through the 37 Chocolates newsletter.
